The Bay Store sits somewhere between a convenience store, a gas station a tackle shop and an ice cream stand. I tend to think it is more interested in being a tackle shop just based on the massive tackle inventory they have. Fishermen would find this place perfectly placed next to the bay itself. It has a handy ice cream stand right by the park but the convenience store end seems a bit like an afterthought. Sure beer, wine, soda milk, all there but it's more like food you would want on your fishing trip with all else. Pretty standard as most stores go. Parking is minimal: maybe 5 spots to the side of the store.

Great lil store. Fill you'r tank. Get a 12 pack, a new pole , then step to the side and grab a creamy.

This is a typical small town gas station. Prices (for gas) are average or a little on the high side. Generally friendly high school kids man the register. Highs include a great selection for local fisherman/sportsmen, a good variety of snacks, and an excellent and fresh coffee selection. Lows are: no public restroom, beer is generally pricey, and no deli or fresh food available. The front end of the store seems like some places (mostly the coffee bar) have been given a brush up, but typically the place seems due for an update and pales in comparison to the modern Maplefields you find around the state these days, or even the nice new Shell by exit 19. This is the only game in town, which is why people stop here and they can coast by with what they have on offer. Not a terrible spot at the end of the day, just nothing exciting. Creamee stand nearby is good, but lines can get loooong and service is slow. Nearby bay park is an excellent spot for a walk.nnEDIT: They have Non-Ethanol Gas, which is huge, best choice for boats, motorcycles, small engines.
