Donald J Lynch CPA

Mr. Lynch prepared our taxes for five years. He did a good job and we were satisfied with him. This year we called ahead for an appointment and we asked him how he was conducting appointments given the current covid-19 restrictions. This opened a can of worms and we found out how much he was against the social isolation policies. He expressed his feelings very clearly, more clearly than necessary. We took part in the conversation briefly and then we suggested that we should just agree to disagree and brought the subject back to when and how we could conduct our appointment. We were instructed by Mr. Lynch to drop our papers off at the office and then provide any additional information by phone. When we brought the papers to the front desk, Mr. Lynch announced through the open door of his office that he would not be doing our taxes. When asked why, he came out of his office and passed by the front desk stating that he did not need to tell us why. Then he went into another room and would not discuss it further. We told the nice lady at the front desk that we were pretty sure that he was over reacting to our disagreement concerning social isolation. Mr. Lynch has a perfect right to his beliefs and opinions. So do we. We were willing to put our differences aside and conduct business. He was not. We think the actions of Mr. Lynch were at best unprofessional and at worst childish. If you go to Mr. Lynch do not discuss anything except taxes and the weather.

He was taking care of my estate, worst CPA in Town, CPA beware, lost most of the estate due to his negligence. Had to pay penalties on paper work that he forgot to file.

I had Donald do my business taxes for the year 2016. He never filed them. His excuse was , he couldn't contact me and therefore never filed them. This costed me a $2500 failure to file penalty on top of what I originally owed. I found this out when I tried to resolute with IRS . I decided to go through an attorney and requested to resolute with the IRS , the IRS told me that Donald already requested to resolute . LOL I never asked him to request a resolution form the IRS.This person does his job with less competency of an ape . I will never use him and would recommend you stay away. Horrible! BAD!!
