Don't know if it was the location or an off night but was not impressed with the food. Had a taco plate but the tortilla shells were cold and dry. Fillings on each were small portions with not much creativity to the toppings to compliment the protein choice of each taco. The rice was dry as well which made the whole dish just okay. For the price though, was expecting much better. Enjoyed the drinks though.

Way overpriced for what you get. The chicken was dry in the burrito. Coming from DC I was disappointed. 22 dollars for a burrito with no sides is ridiculous. Better off going to Chipotle.

Good service and both the burrito and tacos were very good. Their chips + queso and whatever the smoky red salsa is will stick in my brain forever as exceptional. Wash it all down with a Pacifico. Delicious.

Mixed experience...I enjoyed the carnitas tacos and the salsa tacquera but the chorizo burrito had a cinnamon flavor that definitely didn't work for my taste. It was all a bit overpriced for the quantity and quality.

El Cortijo? More like El BAÑO. The food is the epitome of sewage. In what world does a burrito have cinnamon? The chorizo was SWEET?! My sons lame cheese quesadilla tasted better. The service was neglectful to say the least. Had no water for our meal. The only Mexican decor was the toilet. We didn’t have very high expectations given that this area doesn’t have good Mexican food anywhere but this was beyond horrific.
