I recently discovered that inherited my dislike for shopping from my mother. Like her, when I walk into a clothing store, all I see are a bunch of patterns, colors and styles that are not me and would have no idea how to incorporate them into the clothes I already have. If I had the choice I would live in jeans, hoodies and high-top sneakers.nnIn planning my for run for State Senate, I realized that I no longer own a lot of “senatorial” attire. I struggled with an undiagnosed food allergy for many years and my weight continues to fluctuate. Because of that I donated all my suits and business attire and have refused to invest in clothing until I knew I would be able to wear it for more than a month or two.nnI asked Catherine for help. A little while later she sent me a curated list of items she thought would fit the look I asked for. Each item chosen not only fit that profile and my body type; they all worked together to create many different outfits with just a handful of pieces. And all for a reasonable price.nnAs for my mom, she was so grateful for Catherine’s help she came home nearly in tears from gratitude. My first visit to Side Pony Boutique was fun and welcoming. I had Catherine's undivided attention and had the fun of trying on whatever I wanted. She let me have my own opinions and gave me some great advice on shapes, colors, and styles that are flattering on me. I left with a few shirts I never would have bought in a store because I would not have thought they would look good on me. On my second visit, I bought sun glasses that I needed yet they were fun and fashionable. I know I will continue to go back because it's convenient and fun. Who would have thought I could have both! Catherine Moller is one of my favorite people! She is super enthusiastic and down the earth, making you feel good about yourself on any given day. I don't think it is even possible for her to be in a bad mood! This wonderful aura of joy makes shopping with her so much fun. I am fairly insecure about my sizing and she makes me feel great no matter what. I highly recommend shopping for clothes with Catherine at Side Pony Boutique.
