Tried a little of each meat, and everything was great. And oh my goodness the smoked brisket mac n cheese nachos were fantastic. Nachos were assembled when we picked them up to prevent soggy chips, which is a detail they get extra points for in my book.nnNote: if you’re doing takeout, ask for sauce. Some of the meat was a little dry so I wish I knew to ask for it.

My wife and I received beef stew and barbecue chicken with pasta salad which Marks donated as part of feeding seniors where I live the stew was excellent as was the barbecue chicken. My wife the barbecue sauce a little warm but ate it all Thank you to the owners and staff of Marks Barbecue. Looking forward to ordering from them in the nearest future

The best barbeque in the area! The beef brisket is to die for & their sauces are equally delicious.

Included with my meal: a speech from an employee about how wearing a mask is a violation of the freedom they've had since 1776. I considered pointing out the obvious logical failures here, but I was in a hurry with hungry kids in the car.nnNot included with my meal: sauce of any kind. Napkins/wipes. Plastic ware. This was odd, I thought, since these things are typically included with your meal at other BBQ places, especially with takeout.nnI've had BBQ all over the country, and locally from three other places in the greater Burlington area.nnFood quality:nnThe ribs were seasoned well, but very tough. It took some serious jaw strength and commitment to get the meat from the bone.nnThe pulled pork was a flavorless, gray mush with huge flaps of skin mixed in.nnThe brisket was really good. Tender, flavorful, thick cut and included the fat.nnMac n cheese was decent--orange and spicy, the kids didn't like it but I didn't find it offensive.nnColeslaw was red vinegar and cabbage with a few carrots--kind of a letdown from a BBQ joint.nnPotato salad was fairly good, skins included and well seasoned.nnPrice: 50 bucks to feed the family is good, I think, for smoked meat.nnTimeliness: It took about 20 minutes, which again, I think is reasonable. The issue is the app told us it would be 10 minutes until pickup. Probably a technical failure, so I'll try not to hold it against them.nnOverall: If you're going to feature three meats with your family deal, I would suggest making those three meats the absolute best they can be. Also, see above with sauce and other such. Lastly, I'd keep the...I don't know what you'd call it--science denial?--out of the food biz. It doesn't make me feel good about ordering food to go if the employees aren't wearing hygienic protection of any sort, especially during a pandemic.nnI'd be willing to give them another shot to explore the menu more, but probably not anytime soon.

Wow! Take me to Flavortown!nnA combination of flavor, smoke, and a little of the liquid gold that provides moisture and really holds some of the best flavors.nnAfter trying bbq around the country this is one of those places you will always remember which will entice you to surrender to your craving to visit again and enjoy some more.nnHats off to the pitmaster and the entire staff!
