Brisket was delicious. Very good beans as well. They were out of pulled pork, but it was a busy Saturday night. I would definitely eat there again if I am in the area.

Went there for the first time yesterday 8/15/2020, for take out. I would say overall really good. Tasty, good portions of meat. Only critical comment was the amount of grease at the bottom of the container holding the meat. Had to be at least an inch thick. Had to scoop the meat out with a slotted spoon. That said, I would definitely return. Hopefully a tad less grease. And sauce!!! Put some sauce in there!!! Not a lick of sauce in the order, except for the burnt ends order. And it was really good. It should be an automatic give with the order. Overall good job tho.

We’ve been wanting to check out Mark BBQ in Essex junction that just recently opened. The brisket was good, but maybe not an award winner as advertised (the ones I had were a tad dry, maybe it was just that cut I had) but the dry rub pork ribs were absolutely amazing! Paired with their ‘crack sauce’ (which was so good I bought a bottle) and the bourbon whisky BBQ sauce, these ribs got me to buy a whole other half rack on the spot. The smoked beans were great as well as the Mac n cheese. I also like the clever menu choices on a couple of specials. Good southern/Texas BBQ atmosphere and served with white bread as real BBQ should. We loved the chalk board wall that Scarlett drew all over in between bites. Veteran owned and friendly staff. We’ll definitely go back. A solid B+ @markbbqvt

Oh my gord! Arby's DOES NOT have The Meats. Mark BBQ DOES. Highly Recommended!

Awesome Food huge Portions incredible food Definitely a must stop in if you're in the area and you like BBQ
