I do not have warm feelings about my experience here. Though the product (hand controls in my case) now work as designed, the service I received was particularly unprofessional. They consistently exceeded timelines they set themselves, charged my card weeks after the service was rendered, and in a free checkup two weeks after the install, somehow adjusted the controls so that both brake and gas pedal were engaged simultaneously. Needless to say I have little confidence in their service, and in the case of any major hardware failure I guess I’ll be forced to use a ski pole to drive.

Handicap accessible Van Sales and Service. Van hand control installed for Accessible drivers. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.

I have had a good experience lately with Ride-Away in Essex Jct. Charles has changed and he has played a good role of a sale manager. One more time, my daughter was stuck in the van at the hospital and I did not know what to do. It was frustrating. I called Ride-Away and Charles send me the mechanic guy in 15 minute. I really appreciated it. Thank you Charles.nI went there another day for a one hour maintenance. I was surprised that they have a waiting room with WFI and coffee. The time went fast. I was comfortable and I didn't want to leave. I am very happy and I know I can call them anytime I need help and they will be right there.nnMrs. Kahindo

Had Adapt Solutions HI-LIFT AND XL-SEAT installed. The instillation was very professional and works fine. I missed the ferry from NY and called ahead to say I would be late. The mechanic stayed past closing time so I could pick up my van that evening. GREAT SERVICE and a true interest in helping us with handycaps.I highly recomend them.

I went to them to get my lift repaired. It wasn't deploying properly, but I could still use it in a roundabout way by leaning into the driver's area and opening it that way.nThey could not figure out what was wrong with it after two hours and $190 bill for labor, so I got it back and found they made the problem worse.nnWhen I got it back the lift kept deploying by itself and then finally stopped working at all with the lift halfway out and the side doors open. My brother in law had to use the emergency crank - and crank it shut by hand.nnMy van is in nice working condition - but I have no way to get in and out of it - so essentially I am left with a 5,000LB paperweight in the parking lot. Hopefully my Nephew in law can fix it.
