Really REALLY Good food!
Had breakfast here. Amazing quality of food. Quantity was perfect. Home fried potatoes had flavor and weren't over cooked. Chorizo Omlet was the star of the plate! Light omelet with, what I found out later, HOMEMADE Chorizo. This was no middle of Vermont Whitemans Chorizo. Was in New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona 3 months ago, this was Damn Good, Flavorful, well balanced heat and spice, Chorizo!nMy wife had the Chorizo Benedict with Poblano Creame Sauce instead of the classic Hollandaise Sauce. Again well balanced flavor and a perfectly poached egg.nWish we had discovered Firebird a month ago, would of eaten there every week.
It's a tiny shop, and I probably wouldn't recommend eating in.. The food tends to be consistent, and they are willing to accommodate customizing your food the way you like.nStaff always seems friendly, polite, and do a great job. The food is good and decently priced... I'm not a big fan of the southern/Mexican style, but it works when I'm in the mood for something different. Fish tacos were very good.
Must offer the chorizo breakfast sandwich with ham & bacon, egg & cheddar! If you love southwestern spices, this place is a must go to for either lunch, breakfast, or maybe dinner!?
Haven't been in there but the aroma that comes from there is outstanding
