Red Rocks is a wonderful place for adventure. This large wooded area is great for hiking, walking, running, biking and more! Plus there is a beach!! The paths are wide and well stomped down for the most part. There are signs all over pointing you in the right direction, as well as the signs educating visitors about the park, as well as the wild plants and animals, which can make it fun for kids too. My son loves picnicking there. Lots of great little spots to hang out and have lunch.nnProbably the only reason I do not give Red Rocks five stars is due to INCONSIDERATE DOG OWNERS. There are bags of dog poop left all over the trail on the sides of the path. SO FILTHY!! and there are a few dog owners that refuse to leash their dogs, even though there's numerous signs around stating that people need to leash their dogs. I had a dog run at us and jump on me and knock over my 4 yr old son and it traumatized him. LEASH YOUR DOGS AND TAKE YOUR DOG POOP OUT WITH YOU.
Beautiful trails. Beach access. Easy hike on the trails with dangerous steep ones off the main trails. Access to cliff diving (forbidden but tolerated). Dogs allowed on leash.
Redrocks is such an amazing place, we are so lucky to have this in our community. The area is beautiful as the trails wind through woods and beaches. There are bike racks to secure your bike to and restrooms, but understandably are closed for CV. Everyone on the trails that we passed was respectful by keeping a good distance and most people had masks. Thanks SB for offering such a great space.
Great mild day hike. Great views of the lake.
Pretty good, although no one follows the signs that say dogs must be on a leash which is frustrating
