Avoid. Rude service, poorly managed. They took our car in for a tire changeover and then called my wife half an hour later (who had left the area) and were rude to her saying they required payment up front, even though this wasn’t asked for at drop-off. Couldn’t take payment over the phone, either. No apology later, stating this was policy. They had our car, keys and signed service agreement. Over a $49 fee! We are Costco executive members and support Costco all we can. I was blown away by this treatment. I even called the store manager Scott who was equally unapologetic. He said “we don’t allow you to take your groceries out to the car either before you pay”! Will never use this tire center again and this reflects negative about Costco Colchester in general.
Big props to the guys at the Colchester tire center. I was in Vermont for Christmas and on the day I was due to head home, one of my tires caught a construction staple and went flat. They had a fully booked day, but managed to fit me in and got my tire repaired and me back on the road in two hours. Both employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
I got an email that my tires were delivered came right over to pick them up and had to wait over an hour and a half for an associate to find the tires. I was not the only one. Several customers had to wait for a very long time. Not sure how a company could be this disorganized. Will not be coming here again.

Why have a phone extension at all?nnNo one ever answers. Simple solution? Hire more staff or remove number from phone tree.
