Leonardo's Pizza

I am a real pizza connoisseur. I have eaten pizza in almost every city that I have been to and I travel a lot. I arrived in Burlington, VT on Friday evening of Columbus Day Weekend. I was staying at a hotel directly across the street from the restaurant. I ordered a Classic Pepperoni Deluxe, specifying it to be WELL DONE. I was told that delivery would be 40 to 60 minutes, across the street. It arrived about 55 minutes later. I was a little disappointed because the pizza was not hot, not well done, and no plates or napkins. They knew that they were delivering to a hotel room but did not bring paper plates and napkins. In fact, they were not even offered when I placed the ordered. Toppings were plentiful and well distributed. The pizza tasted pretty good but not well done and not hot, and I do not eat cold pizza. It was warm. Pricing was reasonable but I regret the $10 tip for a $19.95 pizza that was not hot, not well done as I ordered and with no plate or napkins.

Delicious! We went all out with a bunch of vegan(!!) toppings and BBQ sauce. It was so good, easy to order and a prompt contactless delivery to our hotel room.

Ordered online to be more convenient, however, when I arrived for my 30 min carry out the order slipped through. Things happen. I was told my order was being put in and to wait another 10 minutes. Somehow the order slipped again. The pizza was thrown together when it arrived. I expect a little more for 20$ pizzas. Better service and better communication with the customer is key.

I'm very fond of this pizza, and missed it a lot when I was out of town for two years. The crust has a very pleasant chewy quality that I not seen anywhere else. I particularly like the thick crust, and have found for some reason it's better on the medium size pizza, but large is still good. The rewards program is worth signing up for. Definately the best pizza in town.
