La Vaquita Meat Market

The first authentic Mexican food I've found in 2 months of living Farmington. Tounge, cheek, Tripe you know all the stuff that's real and not Taco Bell. Great service, good prices. Simple menu, served quickly. Jeff L-8 Google Guide.

We stopped in and tried the carnitas today and we were not disappointed! Absolutely tender and delicious! The staff was friendly, as well. I highly recommend La Vaquita.

It's a meat market with no meat to purchase or market to buy from. It's technically just a restaurant. And the person at the register put their face mask with their gloves on after they seen me with one on. I'm not sure if they were planning on cooking with those gloves as well.. I'm not sure if I would eat from here.

Had a sudden taco craving, and this place turned out to be the perfect solution. Hands down best "al pastor" tacos I've ever had!
