This is a must do/see if you're in the area. The views are breathtaking and well worth the admission fee. I took a couple of breaks along the drive to take in the views and take some photos. There's a visitor center at the top of the mountain with views of the Mt. Equinox summit front the south and north sides with explanations what you are viewing. There's an easy trail to an overlook, if you're feeling adventurous.
Wow this is amazing!! The views are spectacular and breathtaking. Well worth the price of admission. Make sure you have good breaks for the drive down! (Don't worry, it's safe and very well marked.) The building at the top is helpful. I liked visiting the meditation room. Very memorable experience for sure!
Currently closed!!! (And probably till May 2021)nnWhile I don’t feel the rating is deserved as I didn’t get the opportunity to actually enjoy the site as others have. The welcome center is well manicured and well kept. There is a sign indicating they’re closed even tho we arrived at 2pm. Google says they’re open. It’s not until calling the number that we’re informed that it’s only open till Oct 31. There should be better information on the website and google regarding the availability.
A must see if you're in the area! The views are breathtaking! Even the drive up and down the mountain. You can't help but stop and take it all in. Definitely worth the time and money!
We got lucky- a gorgeous fall day,sunny and clear. The look outs on the drive up provided great views, but once you reach the top of the summit there is unbelievable 4 state view. This view is why the Northeast is so great!!! Bring your walking shoes-once you reach the top you can park and hike from the peak . It's worth the cost of admission
