This place was awesome to wheel at! Definitely worth the 4hr drive it took me to get there. Unfortunately my stay was cut short due to broken wheel bearing. Looking forward to returning to explore some more!

There’s two trails when you arrive. The trail to your left is a 5 mile hike total. It’s all incline the entire way up so it’s quite difficult and I don’t recommend younger children. It leads to a bat cave which is closed due to Covid, however, there’s quarries otw and also beautiful views where you feel like you’re on top of the world!nTo find the caves in the photos, hike the trail to the right. Follow it all the way up but stay on your right until you see the caves which are on the left. It’s a rocky trail so it’s easy to follow. It’s less of an incline then the other but still a slight one. It’s a 2.8 mile hike total. The caves are awesome and this hike is so worth while!!! These photos are phone pics. The best photos are on my camera still. Also, brings LOTS of bug spray. The horseflies will attempt you “eat” you alive.

Underground marble mine. Love the marble swirling, neutral to hike up mountain, collected loose marble for sculpting, try not to notice graffiti

Very interesting abandoned marble quarry. Great location for a hike or even off-roading.

Interesting place. Full of trash and graffiti.nRoad leading to it is difficult to drive up with out 4wd and aggressive tires.
