I really like this place. Each table gets fries and garlic mashed. The wine choices are tasty and plentiful. The entrees are always delicious. This is a great date place, quiet dinner by yourself, or a good place to gather. It really hits all aspects. COVID or not, make a reservation and tell em what ya want (cozy, big group, etc). Don't miss out.

Not a single item was a disappointment. For starters, we tried the lady cakes, the crab cakes, and the escargot. All were fantastic, but the curry sauce on the lady cakes was astoundingly good.nnFor entrees we had the pub steak, chicken, and the haddock. The haddock had the same curry sauce and thin sliced almonds. The haddock stole the show; it was perfectly cooked, and the flavor combination was a match made in heaven.nnThe french fries were on point, and the mash was creamy and smooth.nnThe maple creme brûlée tasted brilliantly like maple candy, and the flourless chocolate cake was like a top tier fudge.nnNo complaints, you can't go wrong trying this place out.

I was so excited when my meal arrived that I forgot to take a picture of it. Let me assure you, every scrap of food, every crumb and every drop was thoroughly enjoyed. We were unsure at first if the bread was free but it was. All entrees come with mashed potatoes and the best fries you've ever eaten - along with house made garlic and basil aiole. I ordered the salmon and my husband had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. I couldn't believe how tender and juicy my husband's pork was, and I loved texture of my salmon -juicy interior with an intriguing perfect crust on the exterior - giving the whole dish a multi layered texture that I loved. I had read reviews that the sauces here were particularly amazing, and they STILL exceeded our expectations. The prices are on the higher end but still felt totally fair. Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere. The only negative I can think of is that it is a little close on the seating to the other tables in my opinion... you probably don't want to plan to have very intimate or private conversations. But, I will definitely go back and encourage all our visiting friends and family members to do the same!

Like the traditional Vermont store converted to bistro with wooden floors and soft light. Went with friends who were immediately recognized by the hostess. Service by Lydia was great, and the food delish. Conversation was manageable, but it was Sat night, and all the tables had energetic parties enjoying themselves.
