Whispering Pines Campground

What a wonderful place! I've been here for a month now, it's so peaceful. The people are friendly. It's everything I imagined! I would recommend a getaway here! To anyone.

I was looking for a campground in or around Vergennes VT. I had come across Whispering Pines Campground and read the reviews. I was impressed with the positive reviews.nHowever my experience was NOT positive. I was looking for a reservation for August 15th, and had called the phone number that was listed in mid-July to the last week of July, and had received the voice mail. I had left a message for them to return my call. Here is the bad news, I never received a return phone call. Then I called 3 more times and still never received a return phone call. In a nut shell if this is how someone runs a business by failing to at least have the common courtesy to return someone's phone call. This owner ignored my phone calls, and as such I do NOT recommend anyone to inquire about this Campground. Am not pleased with this owner and will never reach out to them again.

Love this little campground, under new ownership. Randy and Anna go above and beyond to make you feel welcome there. Close to town for shopping, lots to offer at the campground from low rates and lots of things for adults to do. Every night there is different activities and the people there make you feel you're right at home. Come and stay awhile, you'll love it.

It is a nice place. Clean and comfortable. Decent lots and helpful staff. The rates are very reasonable as well. They are usually packed full!

Polite, clean, affordable, great people. A little bit dated, but super clean and quiet with helpful staff and friendy campers and locals. Minutes from town with great restaurants and more nice people.
