Steve, his family and staff are great. They know this area really well and what works and what doesn't. The shop only carries quality gear. I still use stuff I've bought here 15 years ago. It's always the first stop when my family needs something for the outdoors.
Not just great gear and clothing! The staff has a wealth of knowledge about the area and where to go to get the most out of your sport. It's a friendly, family run vibe with the technical chops to help you find what you need.
This is an amazing store, great selection and quality products, but the best part is how friendly they are. The entire staff is willing to help and answer questions and the owner goes above and beyond. Can't say enough great things about the Mountaineer.
