Great trails close to Bristol, Monkton, New Haven! Easy hiking for our 2-year-old, longer loops with some elevation gain, XC skiing... our go-to.

Good trails, but no trail markings or trail signs at intersections

A great place to take your well behaved off leash dogs.

Beautiful, well maintained walking trails. Going around the right for more challenge. BRING BUG SPRAY! Vet said it's the worst place in the area for ticks.

Little gem of a conservation area open to the public. Lots of dog walkers, short-trail hikers. Extensive nature getaway just down the road. 1000 acres, more or less, with a variety of trails, mostly easy to moderate.
