While visiting the Adirondack area in NY we realized we were very near Vermont. Decided to cross the Lake Champlain Bridge and have lunch at the Bridge Restaurant of course on one of the hottest days of the year. I will say their fresh cut fries are excellent!!!

My family and I set out to get ice cream while on a camping trip, the place we tried going to happened to be closed but we stumbled upon the bridge restaurant instead. After taking our orders I was asked if I wanted whipped cream, walnuts, and a cherry on top of my brownie, I replied no thank you. After receiving my “brownie” which was covered in all of the toppings I asked not to be on my brownie, I asked the lady inside the store if I could have just the brownie with nothing on top because it’s not what I had asked for. To which she replied, “that is what you asked for” and then walked away. My mom on the other hand asked for a simple cup of pineapple ice cream, and when her order came out it was clearly orange ice cream. She politely told the woman it was the wrong flavor which she acknowledged and walked off again. I ate my “brownie” without complaining further after taking off all of the toppings I didn’t want on it and my mom decided to throw her ice cream away since it was clearly wrong, but while doing so she could hear the staff inside joking about the incident. It’s sad to see such a disgraceful team of staff members being so rude to people buying from their restaurant.
