Snake Mountain Trail

Love this hike! Steep enough to get the heart rate up, short enough to enjoy with the kids, great view of our lovely Addison County.

Fantastic views and a well kept trail!

Great trail! Decent amount of off street parking near the trail head, with a sign pointing you in the right direction. Took us a little over an hour to go up and about 50 minutes to head down in. Ton of fun! At most a moderate hike, anyone who is even marginally in-shape should tackle this with no problem. Our dog had a blast (all but 1 dog was leashed, which is the respectful thing to do).nnThe views at the top are great, overlooking a large portion of the Champlain valley! Will do again!

Nice hike! We came up one chilly morning last week. The trail was a bit muddy, definitely want waterproof shoes for sure for this one. It is just a gradual gentle climb, not at all difficult or technical. The views from up top are fabulous, you can see all the way across Lake Champlain to the Adirondacks. The entire hike up and down took 2hrs, including 10min on top.
