Slaughter Beach is a town with an interesting history, but it’s also known for its long, beautiful beach that is perfect for beachcombing. Bird-watching is another popular activity in the area, with birdwatchers hoping to catch a glimpse of many different species. Slaughter Beach is also a vital area for horseshoe crabs and their survival.

Great out of the way beach. There are bathrooms, running water, trash cans, free parking, a pavilion area with picnic tables and plenty of Sandy Beach. You probably won't get service once your on the beach though. Oh and I couldn't find anywhere to eat in the town so bring some snacks.

Perfect for nature lovers, this quite, unassuming beach is filled with natural beauty, as well as an extremely healthy and diverse ecosystem ( it's one of the largest spawning areas for Atlantic Horseshoe crabs in the world ). This beach is also a natural spot for shell hunting and even hosts florescent rocks for those willing to look for them.

Small, quiet beach with lots of horse shoe crabs around. Very relaxing.
