Was really impressed with the food and waitstaff at this restaurant! Masks were required until you were at your table, and social distancing with tables was arranged. Our waiter was awesome, but didn't catch his name. As a person who doesn't eat seafood, I appreciated the different options on the menu. I had the filet and it was excellent (extra props for garlic butter). Drinks were good and you get cute cups to take home. Love the view if you eat on the upstairs balcony. Definitely will go here again next time we're in Bethany!

Seriously my favorite place to eat at the beach. I was so excited to see this open in Bethany, after the one in Fenwick closed. I love the ambiance! If you're familiar with the original in Baltimore, this and the OC site are the beach versions. Seamus was our server and I couldn't have asked for better service and food. Everything came out quickly, our drinks were never empty, and it was a perfect evening. Love Ropewalk!!

This place was not a plan for us. We had been searching a place to eat for crab and most places that were listed weren’t open until later in the day. We stumbled across this place while walking in Bethany Beach. We noticed the tables on the sand outside. We then decided to try it. Let me tell you it definitely rates higher then 4.1 stars. The food was amazing. Seared perfectly scallops with amazing flavor and crab cakes that were filled with lots of crab meat. Not to mention the great customer services from our waitress. I would recommend this place to anyone. Fine dining at lunch or dinner, great atmosphere, friendly, awesome customer service, clean, and convenient right near the beach. There are also places in Baltimore, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City.

In this Covid environment I felt safe. Ate with my toes in the sand, outside but with a roof overhead and the food was delicious!
