Great local restaurant. Great food. Great service. Great prices. A must stop when in Lewes.
The 2 of us waited close to 30 minutes for a simple order of eggs and French toast. There were 8 customers in the restaurant. Patience was definitely tested. Food was just ok. Servers were friendly. Covid protocol not followed...menu, sugar, salt and pepper shakers on table for anyone to touch. Coffee poured into our cups from coffee pot...hopefully not touching our cups? I really should have looked into the kitchen when we were waiting to be seated. We would have left. I like breakfast at diners, but this was an epic fail.
The food was really good like homemade. We paid 42$ for breakfast at Honeys. The morning before Today $15 for two good egg meals. Visit this place it will pleasantly surprise you. Honestly I get tired of over inflated prices at other places. This might be our new ordinary place to go.
The food is great. Everyone is friendly. We always go to the Lemon Tree for breakfast when we are in Lewes. You get a lot of food for a little price.
This is where those in the know go - No frills. No attitude. The owners and workers are solid, caring folks. Priced right and friendly for all ages. A local’s favorite.
