I used to go to this establishment when it was known as the Wharf. I always enjoyed the Wharf but the Wheelhouse food is on another level. The staff was courteous, I felt comfortable with the distancing arrangements that they had and the food was excellent. The crab bisque was very flavorful and the fried grouper fingers were lite, flaky and served in a large portion. The burgers were fresh and the bun that they are served on melt in your mouth. Very pleasantly surprised and looking forward to going back.

We got the crab bisque and cast iron seared scallops. The scallops were a good size. I loved the lemon pepper taste on it, but did not like the dark sauce. Don't do what I did. Try it first before you smear your scallops in it, in case, you don't like it like I didn't. The soup was amazing. We got some to go, since this place was so far from home. My picky-eater loved it and said that he hadn't had soup that good in years. The waitress was also very nice. Great place to stop for a snack or some food and some drinks.

Awesome as usual! Staff are amazing and the atmosphere always so pleasant. Really a great and safe place to go especially during this challenging time.

the crab bisque was tasty enough though thinning and warm instead of piping hot. hubby suspects the meat in it was imitation crab bc it was fishy. the voodoo calamari was very good. my mom said the fried shrimp was good. and my husband enjoyed the raw tuna tacos. the fried clams were very disappointing and inedible.

Had a great time here. The location was easy to find, right over the bridge and a left to the canal. The food was delicious, plentiful and affordable. I was pleasantly satisfied and needed a to-go box. Loved the view of the canal with the boats passing. Lots of seating on their multi-level deck. Staff was jovial and helpful. We were seated very quickly even though the establishment was rather busy.
