I have been going to Fenwick Island on family vacations my whole life. As such, we have frequently gone to Fenwick Island crab house for crab feasts. We have never been disappointed. They are always excellent, fresh, and friendly. Definitely the best spot to go for a real, traditional old school crab house.nnWhat really compelled me to write a review is something beyond their delicious food. Yesterday I went crabbing and came home with a bushel and to a house full of hungry family. However, disaster struck when my steamer was discovered to be out of commission. I called Fenwick Island Crab House in desperation. Ted was incredibly sympathetic and told meet him at the back door. He and his staff jumped into action steaming my crabs, and even offered to season them. When I picked them up, I tried to slip them a $20, but they REFUSED to take it.nnThis is the type of restaurant that is truly a neighborhood treasure and what makes the community so great. Easy five stars, and they've earned my business forever.

Bad experience. We ordered carry out steamed crabs and fried seafood late evening. All other places were closed, so this was the only choice. Two dozen medium size crabs were overpriced at $80 per dozen, while other places have them at $40. Looked like taking advantage of being the only place around open at that time. They lacked any spice, even though on the phone they told that they will have regular amount of spice. Were cold, not steaming. I asked for extra Old Bay on the side, none was given. Fried oysters were too small, too salty. Scallops had too much bread/flour on them, tasted OK, not great. Steamed shrimp was bland as well. Fries were soggy, not well seasoned. The whole order came with only one small pack of tartar sauce. The staff inside did not ware masks, which was a bit uncomfortable. I would have given this place one star, but giving credit for being open late and being nice to provide paper cloth for the table. Will not go back and don’t recommend.

Food was good. Service was slow. Our waiter I think was playing every job. I'm pretty sure he made our food and drinks. He even bussed the table. Prices were fair also. The crab cakes had awsome flavor.

Our experience at the Fenwick Crab House was nothing but amazing. Our waiter was Shawn and he was so much fun. He even sat down at our table and showed us how to crack crabs to get the good meat. He had an amazing personality and gave us everything we needed. We have a family of 5 and our meal only came to be a little over $100 with plenty of leftovers to take home. This is an amazing place to take your family and friends if you’re looking for a great hands-on experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying near Fenwick Island.

Went with a group of four. It was really tasty! Good for the price too. The snow crab legs were very tasty. The sides could have been better. I would definitely go back here. If you are currently social distancing and worried when you’re out this may not be the place for you. People are kept at distance but no one including servers are wearing masks. If that bothers you then I highly recommend take out. Crabs were great ud83dudc4dud83cudffb
