Even though this place looks like a dump from the outside, it has some amazing deals on housewares, paper products, school supplies- everything. The best way to describe Roses is that its a cross between Walmart and the Dollar Store. Merchandise comes and go- its never the same shopping experience!
Roses in ocean city needs a extreme makeover. Looking at the rundown building from the outside you have to brace yourself before entering. From the inside of the store it looks like their going out of business. 2 years ago this store was really nice. There are parts of the store that is a total wreck. Dirty floors. The mens bathroom looks like its never been cleaned. Roses has empty shelves and some laying on the floor. Rose's has a now hiring sign up. I hope they would be used to clean and straighten up the store. Please dont believe the reviews.
Great place to buy candy, drinks, the whole lot. Everything is so much cheaper than all other stores, you might not find the specific candy/snack/drink you want but if you do it will be cheaper. The only negative thing is if you use a card the person who owns the card must be present to return it, for example my grandmother gave me her credit card to buy something (i have no clue what it was) and we found that we did not need it, so i went to return and found that I couldn’t.
Roses reminds me of a big lots expect much cheaper. I recommend all beach goers come here for supplies and household items! I love coming here multiple times during my vacation to see what is there! If I had to change a couple of things, I would sell less merchandise to make aisles wider and have more people at the checkout because lines can be a dozen or more people long.
