Good breakfast food with a wide variety. Service was a little slow even with fewer customers and social distancing. Would try again.

Back in the 80s there was a Southern Grille at the corner of Rts. 16 and 113. This is a revival of that home cooked diner. Like at the old Jimmy’s in Bridgeville, you can choose two sides from the list of country favorites to go with your chicken or seafood. A great Shore tradition.
2/2/2 for my little and sausage gravy for me, fantastic food!! Great flavor, very courteous waitress! My daughter loved my meal so much she said the sausage gravy from there is a new favorite!
We were on our way back from the beach and we heard about the Southern Grille and decided to stop by. Given COVID they are closed but very intelligently set up a food truck on the same street so you can socially distance. Prices were very fair for a dinner entree and included 2 side items (crab cake & chicken salad, collard greens, mac&cheese and cornbread for $15.50). Food is authentically Southern and conveniently located about a block off 113. We will now make this our regular stop on our way home from the beach.
