My favorite restaurant in RB hands down -- seafood rarely gets fresher than this! Menu changes regularly too. Attentive servers who care about getting your order just right. Excellent bartenders too. Only negative-- they don't take reservations, on a busy summer day, prepare to wait. (they do wait list you by text so you know your place in line)
Great local Rehoboth Beach restaurant for seafood! The restaurant is casual, and offers both in and outdoor dining. Our party of four really enjoyed the pound of shrimp, classic oyster stew, po'boy sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. The Oyster House also offers a good selection of draft beer to complement the great seafood. For dessert, the apple fritter was large enough to split among all four of us. I'll certainly return to the Oyster House during my next trip to the beach!
Update for 2020: Unfortunately things were not as good this time around. The raw bar was still excellent, as was the service. But, the house salad had almost no taste at all, and the Apple fritters we ordered for dessert were inedible: burned and greasy.nnPrior review:nProbably the best seafood in Rehoboth and the lines out the door prove it!nGreat oyster selection and the New England lobster roll was excellent.
Such a great meal! Sat at the oyster bar and chatted with the shucker. Tried some of all 8 varieties - all amazing. And expertly shucked. Topped it off with their tasty steamed clams and the best fries in town. Highly recommend!
From Trisha our waitress to Joe the owner, we couldn’t have asked for more! Tricia had an excellent understanding of the menu and helped us in our selections. The food was fresh, delicious and perfect portion size. A must go to if you’re in this area. Save room for dessert! Excellent
