I really like this Midas, I recently purchased a 2009 Kia Río (used) and needed some work done. The guys here looked over the car for me (free), told me what I needed done, and got it done quickly. They really explain every detail and gave me great prices for the work I needed done. There was one incident once but it was fixed for FREE! (I gave money still because no labor should go unpaid). I definitely recommend this Midas location in New Castle, Delaware.

They always answer the phone. They are thorough with their observations. And give you the most information possible. They take the time to explain what parts you need, how long they take to replace. And what the parts actually do. They are a little pricey compared to other places, but they get the work done properly and efficiently.

WHAT A SCAM!! Called for an estimate- they told me to bring it in but estimated $95 after they looked at it they wanted $900 I said no and then they charged $220 for diagnostics? Not once did they say there was a fee to figure out the problem. Warning ⚠ufe0f stay away far far away

I went in to get an oil change and then 20 minutes after driving off my car started overheating. When I took the car back they said it was something wrong with my thermostat and that it will cost $300 to repair it. I went back the next day and dropped my car off only to receive a call about 1hr later that the car needs a new egr tube and that will be an additional $300. When I picked up my car it was leaking coolant and shaking and still overheating!!!! I got my car back in waaaayyyy worse condition than I took it in. I had to get another mechanic to replace the egr tube ( I still don't know how that started leaking all on its own!!!). I'm not saying there was any foul play...maybe all these things just coincidentally happened on that day....all I'm saying is I wouldn't take my car back there and I caution you to not either ☠
