Been going to his shop for years... always the consument gentleman and businesslike. His work is good, and thankfully he worked on payment when I was dealing with a family emergency. I had a bad experience. I heard great things about this place but after today I can't say the same. My car was to be ready at 11am today after about a month. My boyfriend dropped me off before work because otherwise I would not be able to pick up the car and go to clinical today. Mr. Nelson opened the door and began yelling that he told me 11, about his personal life problems, that he does not care anymore and I can take the vehicle (he did curse while expressing himself). My boyfriend and I calmly explained I was only there to wait and that he could take his time (I had my phone and snacks prepared to watch a movie). He reiterated that he did not care. He stated that he could not guarantee his work. I completely understood that he needed to guarantee it but he insisted that I take it and leave. The only mistake on our part was showing up at 8 when they open at 9 because we did not know the hours. Every phone conversation prior I took heed to what he said so I'm assuming he had a bad day. This was my first time meeting him in person and it was not a good encounter. He did not charge me, and for that I am thankful. He did not take any amount of money, for again, not being able to guarantee. I'm glad he got my car running and though he was rude and I won't be going back; He did help me out. I hoped he had a good day and left. My advice is to call before you come because you do not know what mood he will be in. Also I find it unprofessional and irresponsible that I really do not know what was done to my car. I never got a receipt or list of work.

I was referred here by three different people and since getting my car and my daughter’s car fixed, I have referred everyone I talk to! Nelson is straight forward and won’t rip you off!!!!!
