3 Palms Zoo & Education Center

We had such a wonderful time here. These animals are clearly loved and well taken care of. I love that this is a rehabilitation zoo that helps animals who need it. All of the money given goes towards that goal.

3 Palms Zoo is not your ordinary zoo. It’s the state of Delaware’s only rescue zoo dedicated to saving sick and injured animals who would not be able to survive on their own in the wild.nnDuring a visit, you will get a back story on each animal and why they came to live at the zoo. The animals, which include owls, skunks, foxes, groundhogs, turtles, and an Alligator named Tic Toc, are housed in areas that are as close to their natural habitats as possible.nnA variety of exotic birds can also be spotted around the zoo, and you have the opportunity to feed and pet the resident domestic animals, including llamas and sheep.

AWESOME ZOO. Owners are extremely nice and compassionate. Nice to go there for a day trip. It's a very peaceful place to visit. I can't believe I never knew this place existed, what a gem. We definitely will be returning. Thanks to the owners, (with big hearts) they are saving a lot of animal's lives. Please consider giving a donation for support as well. It's a little way of thanking them and giving back.

Cool place and great people...these animals are rescues not prisoners. Grandson had a blast. Check it out and support them.

We went today for the first time and enjoyed it! It was just enough fun for my 2 year old, and not too much walking for a pregnant woman. Staff were very kind and helpful; and it was very easy to maintain social distancing! We enjoyed feeding the animals as well. Thank you!
