Main Event Newark

Main Event was great! Took my son for his 5th birthday and he loved it! It was perfect place for him considering he's at the in between stage where he's still young but still too old for for a place like Chuck e Cheese. The service was great , there were tons of games for us to play together , and I can't forget how great the food was! Can't wait to go back!

Great for families and even groups of adult friends. Nice bar complete with traditional stools and a sophisticated selection of wine, beer and liquors. Amazing customer service and even better atmosphere. Highly recommend the laser tags and bowling lanes to bring a healthy dose of competition to every family.

Great family friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome although I don't recall her name (my apologies). We were celebrating a birthday and she made the birthday girl feel very comfortable by dancing and sing with her. She was very attentive and on point with service. The children loved it, even the adults had a great time. Absolutely loved the interactive bowling screens!

It's okay. While visiting there were four games that did not function properly. Most of the basketball games only had one or two balls provided, which is diffidently not enough. They seem to have a good number of games and they provide a fairly good atmosphere. Lot of different activities happening. Bowling and Laser Tag looked super fun. The elevated ropes/adventure course looked fun, but it is on the smaller side when compared to other indoor courses of the like.

I will never go there anymore. I went there 2 weeks ago. Then there was a long line of people. I waited for an hour then they asked me for my identification. At that time I had no idea that I should bring my ID because I have been there twice and entered into the place without showing my ID. Anyway, I had my ID student and my International driving license. I showed it to one of the employees. He said you can't enter this place you need to bring you passport. Imagine after waiting for an hour when it was raining a little bit, they did not let me get into. I said, okay why didn't you post this new policy on your website. He said we do not have to post our policy. I said okay I respect that so far so good. A weak later, I went there again and reserved for a Bowling. They said you have to wait for an hour because the lanes were busy. I had no problem with that. After waiting for an hour, they said you have to wait for an other hour. I talked to the manger he said if you wanna wait that’s good if you don’t we can refund your money without even apologizing. I wish you treat your customers better and you need to organize your schedules for the bowling before you let you customers wait for hours. Finally, I don’t recommend you to visit this place especially in these days.
