The first time I visited this chain was in FL and I wasn’t disappointed then, so when I heard there was one closer to home I had to go and try the food. I wasn’t disappointed, I’ve already been twice. The food taste like it’s good for you, but still taste good, lol, if you can understand that statement. I got shrimp and grits the first time. Presented differently with a grit cake, but still good. The second time I got chicken pot pie. The crust was light and flaky, but still stable enough to hold all of the gooey yummy vegetables and cream base inside. The fish and chips were good too. Seasoned well and the chips looked homemade and fresh and crispy. Our waiter was very attentive and nice both times. Please try the special flavored tea of the day, you won’t be disappointed. Dessert was triple chocolate cake and also delicious. We’ll be back!

We ate here all the time before the pandemic and the two times I've eaten in a restaurant since March have been here. They have a screened/closed in patio that was great this summer. Good food, lovely staff, fair prices.... And some darn fine fried chicken!

I visited this diner for the 1st time last weekend(Oct 2020). It is very clean & safety is a priority - staff wore masks & signs are posted to maintain distancing. I gave 4 stars because it took several minutes for my server to come to my table initially(made me wonder if she was hesitant because I'm black!?) However the staff was very pleasant - the manager greeted me kindly & even got my drink for me & my server was attentive & friendly. The food was served quickly & it was good. I will probably return here in the future.

Fantastic food and service every time! And even if we run into a bump, customer service is fabulous. We have always left the restaurant having a great experience.
