This is a great program, They do a lot for the community and my daughter really has fun she has been going here for 4 years now
I really think the water should be warmer. When the water is cold I’m very upset and cold. I live warmer water it motivates me more. I hope you can make the water 87 degrees or more please!
My son has been a member of the YMCA before & after care program the last 4yrs and also summer camp. I have watch the programs & Staff grow and provide exceptional care since day one. I’m extremely grateful and a proud parent with a piece of mind knowing my child is being taught respect, values, morals & integrity. I appreciate them on so many levels they offer so many different activities throughout the year for the family to be involved it’s those thing’s that count!
I was so happy to enroll my son again at the walnut street Ymca he loves coming here and has so much fun the staff is amazing with him and he always is safe and happy. He will be back next summer to enjoy another year of camp thank you all again you all are amazing.
It's a nice overall facility but the swimming conditions here were unsafe. The pool is 6 lanes and 25 yards long. It’s 9’ 4” deep in the deep end and 3’ 6” deep in the shallow end. The water temperature read above 85 degrees Fahrenheit which is too hot for competition swimming. The HVAC system was also broken when I was here so as a result, chlorine levels and air quality could reach dangerous levels. Once they fix the conditions, this place would be very nice!
