The best place for big reds. Personal service by owners. Surrounded by good foods and many tasting rooms. I don't stop in Carlton without tasting and picking up wine at Barking Frog.

The Barking Frog.nIs a place you go to taste wine, they have all different kinds of wine for you to taste. The place is not very big and there were a lot of people there when I was there. I don't drink but the wine smelled good. The people there were a trendy crowd and it looked like they were enjoying them selfs. The place was set up so you stepped up to the bars long table and sampled the Barking Frogs Wine. Many people were buying wine by the bottle to take home with them.

Looking for a great Syrah, Cabernet or Tempranillo Check it out at Barking Frog Winery. Small cozy wine tasting room. Ron and Cindy are down to earth people.

Friendly people like to view the wines but the great majority were not to my taste. Small cozy tasting room and I love their barking frog logo.

Visited the tasting room in Carlton on our way to dinner. Very pleasant experience; not rushed and the wine was very good. Our server was also pleasant and gave generous (not too, tho) pours. Would go back if we get back into the area.
