I was there on 10/10/20 for Boho Locs with Malika @HairHustle ! I asked for waist length ombré. I sent a picture as a reference to what i wanted . I made her aware beforehand that my hair was very fine and that i wanted mine smaller in size . I sent in my deposit via cash app , she said the price was $300 and that includes the hair . My appt was set for 7:30am that morning , she contacted me the night before to ask if my appt could be pushed to 9:20 am . I should’ve taken that as a sign ! I got there , she started the process , i was never ever facing the mirror so i had no clue what i was in store for . She was done quickly which i questioned in our confirmation text because i distinctly recall her telling me the ones she did on the salon owner took so long because they were smaller and longer ! After she was done in a little over 4 hours i stood up in shock ! My reaction was pure shock ! Not only where they extremely heavy there was nothing ombré about the color . Prior to me seeing them as she was almost done she had me cash app her the balance as if she knew she hadn’t done a good job ! I went home because i didn’t wanna be seen in public with this hairdo ! I tried to reason with her the next day and asked for a refund . Of course she refused . I requested $200 of the $300 in fairness because she supplied the hair ! We went back and forth via text and she kept insisting she gave me what i asked for ! Totally false , only thing she gave was the waist length THATS IT ! I was provided the “ salon manager “ number . I reached out , we spoke about the matter , i provided pictures . The offer was to have MALIKA do my hair again but I’m a different style ! NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT TO DO THAT! I asked for a $200 refund . When i wouldn’t accept the same person who screwed my hair up to do it again i was sent a response basically saying , i hope you were satisfied with the customer service , hope to see you again ! So i lose all the way around because my birthday was the 16th so i have to pay someone else to do my hair all over ! Fair is fair ! I’m not sure what customer service i was suppose to be grateful for but it didn’t resolve anything and i just lose out all the way around ! I know SEVERAL salon owners and i sent the before and after pictures to and they were all MORTIFIED !!!!! NOT ONE PERSON THOUGHT I rec’d what i asked for !!!!
