I own 2002 GMC 6.6L turbo diesel and I developed a major fuel leak while travelling somewhere near Smyrna, DE, 230 miles from home. I figured this was going to cost me a fortune being stranded in very rural DE. VA Truck &Trailer Repair was recommended by an off duty policeman so I had the vehicle towed there. V.A. is a father and son operation that had several huge diesel trucks being worked on at the facility (good sign). Al DuPree,the owner/manager, diagnosed the problem, a blown injector pump and explained in detail what the consequences were, my options and the estimated costs would be. He kept me informed as the work progressed, delivered the job ahead of schedule and under his original estimate. (When was the last time repair work on your vehicle came in under estimate ?) I was very greatly impressed with the way he and his son managed the entire process. Probably most impressive of all was the honesty in the way I was treated. Hands down the best around! Had my truck at another shop it came back with a bill and the same problem. Called these guys and they didn’t stop till it was FIXED! Would highly recommend them!
