POLISENOS PIZZERIA

I’ve been a long time customer of Poliseno’s (both locations) I’m not sure what happened at the Dover location.But my pepperoni on my pizza tasted like cardboard. There wasn’t really any sauce or cheese on the pizza either. I was so disappointed. Sometimes when i order, it’s fine. But the past couple of times, it’s been horrible.

I'm giving this 3 stars because this is nothing like New York style pizza as advertised. I'm from NY and the pizza crust is thin, crispy, cheesy and the sauce is flavorful. The sauce at this place is good, cheese is not the quality mozzarella and the crust is soft. The closest to NY pizza is Mama Maria's in Dewey Beach and the second runner up is Franco's on Dover.

took 2 hours to get my food, and was not updated or comped for there delay on it. If you want a pizza your better off making one yourself. It would be quicker.

Overall food is decent. Pizza is decent and so are the cheese steaks. Have not ventured out too much because well it's expensive to order food out, especially with 3 kids.. lol... Was not impressed with the meatball sandwich which is my favorite food to order.. customer service is good and prices aren't too bad. Not a bad local pizza joint. I WILL KEEP THE REVIEW UPDATED..

Good Food, excellent friendly service and very fair prices.
