Galen McBee Airport Park

Its a mice little walk close to home about a 1.5 mile loop for a quick trip to nature to get out of the house.

Easy one mile loop. Shady thru out. Plenty of benches and picnic tables.

Awesome hidden gem. Wedged between airstrips it is definitely not what you'd expect. All the tables and benches were sculpted by an oregon state professor in the late 70's/early 80's... as well as the fountains and a super cool mushroom house. Loved it and so did my 3yr old daughter!

Dogs allowed on leashes... Perfect easy walk

Absolutely gorgeous. Park rangers were here as we arrived - not because of any trouble, they were just checking to see that everything was as it should be. The trails were clean and well maintained. At the end of the trail you can go sit viewing the small airport runway and watch the planes and helicopters. Loved our visit!
