Killens Pond Water Park

I was reluctant to go because of COVID but relented to celebrate my grandson's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised, the water park was very clean and spacious with plenty of seating (lounge chairs). My family was able to group together, allowing us to practice social distancing from others. The pool was extremely spacious which allowed everyone to kinda spread out too. We packed lunches from Wawa.nThey do offer some food and water ice for purchase but you have to eat it in a designated area.nnI would definitely go back again.nIt was a very nice, family oriented experience and the admission was reasonably priced.

Killens Pond Water Park is a state park in Felton. It’s the perfect place to spend a nice summer day, and it’s only minutes away from Harrington.nnThere are a variety of water amusements on-site, including pools suitable for all ages (even babies), several water slides – including two that are 27-feet high – a mushroom fountain, and a floating lily pad fun walk. Food and beverages can be purchased at the concession stand, and there are lockers and a swim shop available.

Social distance & masks required without being intrusive. Quick, easy entrance. Lifeguards very alert and interactive. Constant sanitizing of all hand rails and common touch points. Not overcrowded at all. Perfect for all ages with water features and slides.

Awesome for the kids and grands. I enjoyed some swimming and sun. Will definitely return.
