This is a great venuenNeeds a little shoring up sometimes but overall it’s a gem. I had a little difficulty understanding Paul Krugman most recently and I’m not sure if that could’ve been fixed with better sound reinforcement.nSight lines are decent on both levelsnThere choices of speakers tend to run the “NPR set” so I wish they’d branch out a little more and maybe try something a little more radicalnOverall I enjoy coming herenEven the serious pat down and security checks(totally understandable) don’t thwart me from comingnThe place has a lot of historical value for me too. Back in the 80s it was an AME church and I saw the great Dick Gregory speak herenSo glad it still exists as a gathering place for folks with ideas

The building itself is historic and it's architecture is classic & beautiful! The concert I attended was pianist Matthew Whitaker: the performance was phenomenal!!!nI would gladly visit Sixth & I for a tour! As a native Washingtonian, this is an architectural and historical gem!

Haven't been in a while and was happy to find a new screening and ticket checking process. And they now serve beverages! The venue is fantastic, intimate and good acoustics. Lots of stairs, so be prepared with good shoes.
