Such good Thai food, probably the best in DC. Just don't go looking for your typical/main-stream fishes. They cater to a more authentic experience and serve up dishes you've probably never tried before let alone heard of. Expensive, but decently priced for DC-standards: expect to spend ~$20 on food and ~$10/15 on a drink. I'll definitely be back.
Really good food. Staff was nice and they have the regular safety precautions. For the amount of food I got, I thought it was a little pricey. I got a really good curry for $17, but my dish was kind of small, especially when my girlfriend got a similar entrée and got a massive plate. If we could do decimals, I'd give them a 3.6.
Absolutely delicious every time. Very vegetarian friendly, can sub tofu in many dishes. Heat level is on point: if you don't do spicy or only can handle mild, keep in mind their spicy is ACTUALLY spicy.
We ordered during restaurant week just to try it out and it was AMAZING. Definitely going into our regular rotation. The flavors are so strong and interesting! We had the pineapple bites, lotus root salad, stir fried catfish and Northern Thai curry pork. All were winners, but the best was the slushies. Both the white lotus and lychees cocktail slushies were amazing. We wished we had ordered twice as many.
The food actually did taste similar to what I had while traveling around Thailand. The two standouts to me were the mango salad (made with ripe mango, not green mango... not sure if it's usually made that way but it was still delicious) and the spicy peanut noodles. The banana leaf chicken was missing acid, but had a nice amount of heat. Grilled beef salad was decent but not great, the meat itself isn't very seasoned, probably because it's served with such a salty-sour sauce. Wish it came with more veg as well. Overall this place is fantastic and you should definitely check it out. Excited to return.
