Very nice. Got bit by a lot of mosquitoes but I think we got unlucky in where we sat.
As I've written in my other reviews of the neighborhood, it doesn't cut it to just walk up to the Capitol building and take a pic and go. The whole area is gorgeous and splattered with little places to go see. One such is the Senate park. In particular, there's an absolutely fantastic - relatively lesser known - fountain here called the Senate Fountain. It's right on your way to the Capitol. Surprisingly, many people miss it. So take a pause. Look at this gorgeous structure!nnIt should be on your holiday cards!
We stopped here on our way to the Capital Building. It was beautiful and a great place for a little break.
Good lord! Look at all the cracks.
Nice looking but if you've ever been to Europe you wont be so amazed by DC in general
