A small, stoic reminder of a dark time in American history. When we turned against our own and stripped Japanese Americans of their property, freedom, and basic human dignity. It's a shame that the memorial bell is not in service and that this memorial has been left to disrepair.

A great memorial, but is not well kept. There was a lot of litter, including a bottle of urine. A memorial to such an atrocity should be kept a lot cleaner.

Solemn place to reflect on those who helped America be great because they believed in the pricipals of democracy and eqaulity for every person even though themseleves were treated terribly be their own government that was filled with fear / ignorance after being attacked by a foreign power.

A peaceful sanctuary by capital hill with a short cut through of a corner lot. Memorial is elegant, graceful, somber, as befitting subject. Stone plateau gives respite from busy traffic. The sculpture of 2 embracing cranes captured in barbed wire embodies the quiet, powerful emotions and love of country among detainees. This is a best example of memorial art, despite the high tech bell that doesn't work and some needed yardwork. Perhaps a civic group might adopt for upkeep?

This is a beautiful memorial with a beauty statue and somber remembrance. However, they need to tighten security here. I couldn't get remotely close due to the number of homeless people living there.
