I was really happy and excited to get a favorite pair of not-inexpensive (to me) shoes fixed up so I could wear them again. The shop is really cool and the staff seems to know their craft at first glance.nnI guess I ultimately got turned off by having my shoes returned to me with a very obvious hole in them, and then being charged more to fix that which they missed. This is after paying as much as I had already to get them repaired in the firstplace. The work they had done looked good; fairly even stitching, nice material, definitely things looked better than the did before. I don't know how they missed a hole in the shoe though. The entire point is to get them repaired to wear them... So yeah, I don't know what they were thinking. They acted surprised when I brought them all the way back.nnBe prepared to spend money here and wait for the results. If you've got 800$ Jimmy's that you don't need for a couple weeks... Might make sense. But anything under 300$ that you are trying to wear regularly, I might say it's better to just buy another pair. I had a couple other pairs of shoes to repair, but I don't think I will do much more than donate them and buy fresh ones.
