I met Liz over two years ago when she was still working at Bang Navy Yard, and she has been so good to my hair ever since! She is friendly, easy to talk to, and actually makes me look forward to getting a haircut because it feels like hanging out with a friend. Her hair cut and color skills are next level! She’s given me beautiful blowouts, nice clean trims, and natural looking color that required no upkeep. When I got engaged, I knew that I wanted Liz to do my wedding hair. She went above and beyond, even coming to my house in gloves, mask, and a faceshield to do a hair and makeup trial. She ordered custom extensions for my wedding day and when they came in too light a color, she hand dyed them herself! Everyone commented how beautiful I looked, and I have to credit Liz for being an indispensable member of my wedding day beauty team. I’ve also been to see Liz for a haircut at her new dig in The Shop at Shaw and it’s wonderful! Easily accessible by metro, awesome paintings and murals on the walls, all the staff are nice, and there is an adorable French bulldog who is always at the salon to keep you company. I was also really impressed with how they have handled COVID. Everyone is masked and shielded, and I never felt unsafe while I was there. Liz is best known for her amazing color technique, and I can’t wait to go back and get the mermaid hair I’ve always wanted.
