This barbershop is the real deal, a constant in the neighborhood for decades. Stoney, the owner/proprietor/maestro-of-manes can regularly be found greeting everyone that passes by and encourages everyone to sit for a spell, engage in conversation and feel welcome. These days, in this city, a real Spot like this is priceless (and their pricing is spot on to boot.)

It's possible to get an excellent haircut here, but if you plan to come near opening you should be open to the idea of them not being open anywhere near on time. Convenient for those who work downtown, not convenient for when the only time I'm available is during my lunch hour.
