I started using this pharmacy when it was still Rite Aid after I moved to DC for college. I usually had great experiences picking up my prescription at this location but my most recent experience with them was horrible. I returned to DC in August for school and needed my prescription transferred from my home pharmacy to this pharmacy. I do this multiple times a year with no issues but this time was difficult. The pharmacist or assistant who I spoke with on the phone was incompetent and rude. I had called this pharmacy 4 days in a row trying to get my prescription transferred to this location so I could pick it up. My pharmacy at home was ready to transfer it but this location kept telling my that my prescription was expired after I double checked with my doctor and my other pharmacy. After having to call multiple times in one day, the lady on the phone caught an attitude with me after I simply asked her to do her job and have my prescription transferred into their system. I was 3 days late on taking my prescription because the pharmacist at this location made no effort to get my prescription transferred. I decided to have my prescription transferred to a CVS near where I live and it was ready to be picked up that SAME day. I will not be using Walgreens as my pharmacy in the future.

So happy to have a professional convenience store and pharmacy in the neighborhood. I bypass 2 CVS’s just to go to this store

They are wonderful! So nice to see them during the Shutdown. The pharmacy is outstanding. So glad to have them in my neighborhood

I visited Walgreens formerly known as rite aide after there grand opening and I must say the prices are a bit higher but the store is beautiful and clean. The staff are ok and the manager Miguel and Lahsen are always so nice and helpful.
