I was traveling by train for the first time in the US yesterday and had a layover in DC. I was raised in Asia so of course Kashmir caught my eye. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the beautiful jacket in green paisley but found a beautiful turquoise scarf. The ladies working last night were Afghan and and African American. I was coming home from a funeral and they helped me find 3 beautiful silk shawls in colors that matched my blended family's skin tone. I wore mine all the way home. My mother in law and sister in law were elated to have such beautiful shawls . I told them to feel like a hug from me when they used their shawls. Thank you so much to the staff at Kashmir in Union Station. You made my sorrowful journey easier to bear.
This is what a boutique should be. The esthetic was elegant, the personnel knowledgeable & professional, and the quality was FABULOUS. I can't wait until my next visit.
Whenever I am in Union Station in DC, I always stop by Kashmir store. Excellent quality! But pricey. However, worth it.
