they have a ton of great options for professional dress and I was pleasantly surprised. They also have great discounts and affordable options, which I found surprising. the store is nicely kept, one of the nicest businesses inside union station. however, if you’re not careful, you might end up spending a grand in there haha.

I went with my wife to Union Station in DC and she went in to the Ann Taylor store there and after looking around she ended up picking out a coat that boasted 40% off. It was also 40% off online as well. She tried charging it to her Ann Taylor card but the person at the cashier said there was a problem with it. After telling her that it should work fine the manager was called who told the cashier person how to process it using the Ann Taylor card which was fine. After going back to the hotel we checked the receipt that was emailed to us only to find that no discount had actually been applied to the purchase - very aggravating.

Visiting from the west coast, I stopped in to look at their sale items. I found a couple things I liked and received great service! Shortly after leaving the store, I discovered that my cell phone was gone. I retraced my steps and at each store was told no phone. When I got back to Ann Taylor, the manager, Turquoise, went above and beyond to help me find my phone, using the Find My Phone app on her phone. Because of her due diligence and kindness, I actually got my phone back! This was service beyond every expectation. I love Ann Taylor and I can't say enough about the staff at the Union Station store. Thank you Turquoise!!!

Classy clothing and somewhat pleasant staff. The items are a bit pricey. I generally only shop for sale items.
